PARIKSHIT ASKS SUKAYOGI HOW PRIYAVRATHA HAD OBTAINED SALVATION

 

Parikshit asked Suka yogi “Oh great saint! Though Priyavratha was a great devotee of Lord Vishnu and was a very learned man, he had led a normal life and was entangled in worldly affairs. He had his wife and family, and was engaged in wars and tough royal duties. How come then that he could obtain salvation? What was the great secret?”

Sri Suka then started narrating the story of Priyavratha.
