DAKSHA AND HIS DAUGHTERS

Prasoothi, the youngest daughter of Manu was given in marriage to Daksha who was son of Brahma and they lived happily.  They had sixteen daughters.  Thirteen of them were married to Dharmaraja. The other three daughters were given in marriage to Agni, Pithrudevathas and Siva.  All of them had children and grand children.  Lord Vishnu manifested himself as sons of Dharma and Murthi (one of his wives).  These sons were known as Nara and Narayana who became great ascetics.  Brahma and other gods visited them and paid their respects to them.
